Digital Weather Stations
We’ve been selling weather station equipment for over a decade and we keep a wide range in stock from manufacturers who have been making weather instruments in excess of 40 years.
Weather forecasters are ideal for people who would like to predict what the weather is likely to be over the next day or so. They work by sampling the barometric pressure. They will all show indoor and outdoor temperature and some will show humidity too. They will also record the minimum and maximum temperatures of the day.
Full weather stations do all that weather forecasters do, but also have multiple sensors for monitoring the weather. Most will record wind speed and direction as well as rainfall, and many will also store this data for downloading to a PC. With these additional sensors, enthusiasts can make better predictions.
Professional Instruments may have extended capabilities such as UV or agriculture monitoring. Davis units are more robust and are ideal for commercial applications.
