Technoline WS 6449 Weather Forecast Station with Barometric Pressure Graph

My neighbour recommended it about a couple of years ago and as and when I can afford it I've added to the original purchase for other rooms in my home.

This is an excellent piece of kit. TheBarometric Pressure Graph is useful, as well as interesting. The various colours make the readings much clearer.

Smallish, free standing ( as oppose to wall mounted) Weather Station providing Air Pressure, Inside and Outside Temp and Humidity. Atomic Clock. and pictorial idea of Weather which is a novelty really. Colourful Screen, Took me a couple of reads of the instructions to set the clock up correctly , obvious once you know how but took me a bit of time to work out which seems fairly common in the reviews. It works on batteries and mains you can have up to 3 monitors linked if that is important to you. Seems accurate or at least as accurate as I need and is good fun to use, I am into my flying and sailing so I always have an interest in what the weather is up to locally. Reccommended.

Happy with this weather station although inside temperature seems a little high, also in comparison to my previous weather station. Outside data is comparable to previous station and pressure reading and trend seem to be good.

This is only suitable for use in Europe. The time fixes on Europe time even after manually setting to uk time. Otherwise fine it does what it is supposed to do.

great product, super colour graphics, easy to set up

Excellent, bright easy to read screen even without my glasses ! Easy set up to an outside monitor and working in about 5 minutes out of the box. Slight difficulty setting up the correct time zone but I didn't read all the instructions, so a prompt email reply from Jacquie at the weather shop sorted it.

Delivered on time, and once installed has proved to be invaluable. The product is as good as the supplier, who even provided us with pre-installation help before delivery, which was held by the Post Office in Feltham (!) for four days.

Easy to set up. Colourful display. Readings are comparable to local temp/ pressure values. Pleased with purchase.

Weather station very clear to look at. I had to phone up services because clock kept advancing one hour, lady explained how to program it in and sent an email. She explained it better than the leaflet.

The station seems to be working well, but I consider that the adaptor plug supplied with it is too dangerous to use. I think that you should review these urgently

My husband seems very pleased with his weather station. The outside sensor works well - interested in seeing both the inside and outside temperatures. The only downside is that it is set to summertime and so he has to alter the clock daily.

Worked straight out of the box. All I had to do was connect it to a socket, set the date, and adjust the barometric pressure to where I live. The date changed back a year after New Year's Day but the setting is very simple so this is certainly not a problem to worry about. On the whole, it works very well, is acceptably accurate and certainly consistent. It is very easy to read and the backlighting makes all the difference. Not having to mess about with batteries is a relief and I was pleased to bin the two cheaper units I had been using.

Love this little weather station. the screen is very colourful and easy to read, even from a distance. It's very easy to check the minimum/maximum temperatures with the front button, although a little disappointed that there is no time record for them. If the information is recorded at the same time daily, the max/min could have been at any time during those 24 hours. However that seems a little picky for a reasonably priced piece of equipment like this one. I also have another station (different make) for which the outside sensor shows the temperature to be about 1 degree colder than this one. For my use this is not a problem so all in all I find this to be a lovely station that is pleasure to look at. Thank you.

What you don't find out until you open it all up and read the instructions is that the screen does not stay on all the time unless you have it plugged into the mains (and we don't have a mains socket in the location we want it to sit).
Also the angle of view is important - if you are not on a very tight line of sight, you can't read the screen. Neither is much use when you just want to glance over and see the time or temperature.

This arrived promptly, but unfortunately the remote sensor didn't connect. The Weather Shop team replaced it promptly and it's now working really well. We have a sensor in the back garden connecting to my daughter's bedroom in the attic, and it's been going fine for six weeks now. It isn't hyper-accurate, but is a great introduction to understanding and measuring climate and weather.
