Banjo barometers have been around since the mid 1800s, and are still the most popular design. The central dial is a lovely, intricate, roman numeral display clock. The dial just above shows the barometric pressure information, the top part is a temperature scale, and the bottom is a humidity dial. This TFA Dostmann barometer is German-made, and is of a beautiful quality.

 

 This barometer is shipped from us in safe transportation mode, and will arrive to you unset. This is so that the needle does not move in transit, and therefore become damaged. On arrival, the barometer needs to be manually set to your local air pressure, which you can find online from various resources. This process is very simple, and can is done by simply turning a screw on the back to make the needle move to the required position. Once the barometer is set, it is ready for use.

 

 Increasing pressure indicates that the weather will be getting better with more warmer and dryer conditions.

 

 Descreasing pressure indicates that the weather is set to worsen - storms and wind are highly likely. Quick drops in pressure can signify that a storm is imminent in the next several hours.

No complicated list of do's and don’ts, all we ask is that the item is returned unused in the original packaging and that you have taken reasonable care.


Exclusions From The 30 Day Returns Policy


Items not normally stocked such as bespoke, hand made, peronalised with art work such as logos are not eligable for the 30 day return policy.  

Bulk orders:  If you wish to order a large quantity of one product or are wishing to have artwork such as logo's added we are happy to provide a sample before comitting to a large quantity. Once you are happy with the product any orders for bigger quantities will not be eligble for the 30 day returns policy.

 

After 30 Days

 

We really want you to be happy with your purchase, but if you do decide after the 30 day period that you would like to return the order,  you may still be able to and receive a credit note, this is reviewed on a case by case basis.

Please contact us and we will do all we can to help. A restocking fee may apply if the item has been opened and items that have been used will not be credited. Any credit notes issued must be used within 60 days of issue.

 

The Boring Bit...

 

Items being returned must have all their original packaging, along with all accessories received with it, any sealed items must still be sealed and unused. We will refund the cost of your purchase including the delivery charge. However we will not refund the cost of returning any items that are unwanted and if you request a collection this will be deducted from your refund.

We are sorry to say that items returned in a used condition or missing packaging will not be refunded and will be returned to you.


How To Return

 

To notify us that you wish to return your goods please contact us via telephone or e-mail. Once we receive your request we will send you an email with full details of how and where to return the goods including a returns number, which must be clearly displayed on the packaging.

Returns normally take only a few days to process but please allow up to 10 working days.
