You could call Vion the new boys on the block or the seasoned professionals. Vion have been around since 1830 and build marine equipment including traditional barometers, so they know their stuff. They recently launch into the electronic weather station market and we think this unit is excellent.

The Vion Easy Metro is equipped with multi-criteria prediction using “intelligent” software it displays a confidence index as to the accuracy of the weather prediction being made.

Frost risk can give a warning to likely frost conditions valid for the next 6 to 8 hours. Ideal for the keen gardener.

Strong wind alarm the unit can detect the likely hood of strong winds within the next few hours, displaying a wind sock graphic.

Storm warning the storm graphic flickers if the unit detects the conditions likely to result in a storm.
