The Oregon weather station with scrolling message alerts – This one offers a great range of features and not only does it use graphical weather icons to show what the weathers going to do, it even has scrolling message alerts giving forecast information such as “rainy don’t forget your umbrella” and “ice alert, possibility of black ice when driving”.
If you buy the optional
UV sensor “click here”, which monitors ultraviolet levels. You can program up to 4 peoples information into the unit and it will warn you when you have had enough sun and when to apply more sun tan lotion. It will also display more weather alerts if you have this sensor
You can also get the
floating temperature sensor “click here”, which displays water temperature of your fish pond, swimming pool, hot tub, etc Using it’s built in electronic barometer the weather station will display weather graphics as well so that you can easily predict what the weather will be doing for the next 12/24 hours. Predicts the weather based on barometric pressure within a 19-31 mile (30-50km) radius.
The BAR289 clock and calendar are set by a radio signal broadcast from the Rugby atomic clock so they are always right it will even move it backwards and forwards one hour every year, all on it’s own.
